Hey!!
So this is the first post on my bakery blog.
This week I will be baking 2 cakes, one for my cake decorating course, the teacher Anna Murphy has said to bring in either a 7 inch polysterene dummy, however I saw the prices of the dummies and realised I could bake many cakes for that price, so I will just be baking a cake for every week.
The second cake is for a friend’s birthday, he plays bass guitar and I really want to make a guitar cake. So far that is all I have decided, it will have a guitar theme I don’t really know how that will work, but since I am watching Ace of Cakes right now, my brain is thinking of many things that I do not think I can pull off…
That is roughly the guitar I need to replicate… I have never carved a cake, I could take the easy DC Cupcakes way out and just do mini cupcakes or go all out.
The non cake related thing I will be doing this week is signing up for a Level 2 Food Safety in Catering course!
